Mishelia A. Harris RN, BSN

Mishelia A. Harris is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She is a highly experienced, versatile Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background and expertise in the pharmaceutical and Clinical Research Organization (CRO) industry. Her genuine love and concern for people led her to earn a bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2002. Her clinical nursing experience includes high-risk labor and delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, newborn nursery, travel nursing, Nurse Educator, and clinical research. 

Over the past 18 years, she has expanded her nursing and research experience and built a distinguished career in pharmacovigilance (PV) operations focusing on product safety from development to market. She is a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas, including but not limited to safety case processing, business process optimization, training, quality and audit support, project management, business analysis, system validation and system implementations. 

Throughout her career, Mishelia has grown passionate about empowering individuals through knowledge, and she continues to focus on providing training and support to companies experiencing organizational change. This includes employee onboarding, developing and maintaining training curriculums, training content creation, workshop development and facilitation, soft skills training, training delivery and facilitation (face-to-face, virtual, and eLearning training formats). As a leader in training facilitation, she has conducted over 150 training sessions for diverse audiences, ranging from intimate groups to large audiences of 100+ people.

With a comprehensive blend of clinical and operational expertise, Mishelia continues to make impactful contributions in the areas of safety, training, and quality outcomes. As a SME, her primary goal is to accelerate innovation and growth of companies by helping clients improve their business operations, solve specific challenges, optimize performance, and implement strategic changes.
